22 Creative Ads You May Not Have Seen Before
Written on January 5, 2009
I love it when I see an ad that’s so creative I wish I would have thought of it. That’s what I’ve found from these 25 ads. Many ads are posted over and over again on blogs, but hopefully this is the first time you’ve seen most of these ads. Many of these make innovative use of the environment (buildings, streets, furniture), which always impresses me.

This is such a great collection. You can just see how much fun the creative minds in advertising had when working on these. If your company is willing to put out the money for ads like those then the sky is the limit. I really enjoyed these. Thanks

the kill bill 2 one is awesome, but brutal, is that real? it’s pretty graphic!
the sharpie one is clever, but not very obvious

These are all very original and creative. I really liked the PSP one. I know I get hooked playing that thing sometimes. It’s kind of like wearing handcuffs. Haha. Awesome post.

Great collection!

I disagree with the Sharpie ad. I don’t find it impressive at all, almost off-strategy. Seems like the product should be Pilot Precise or Rapidograph.

These are great, I’d love to create adverts of that standard one day. My favourite designs are the FedEx vans and the M&M’s.
As for the Greenpeace image with the frog I immediately knew I had seen it elsewhere. I found the image a few weeks ago when I posted an inspiration article on my site, I found the image on Worth 1000.
You can find the almost identical frog image I found through my post.

I find the “world no tobacco day” advert to be in poor taste. Regardless of what you think of smoking I feel it to be disrespectful to use an altered picture of a war memorial to promote anything, with the exception of an anti-war campaign.
Otherwise it is a great collection.
