Another Happy Online Ordering Experience!
I just want to take a few minutes to share a more-than-pleasant online ordering experience I’ve had recently. Taking on a new business idea means all new marketing materials and, naturally, business cards were the first item on my list. It’s been awhile since I’ve been through this process and it’s not something I was completely excited about since the last time I ordered cards online, they came back less than satisfactory.
But now, I am so glad I took a chance at getting business cards online again because this time, they came out fantastic! Though I’ve heard about the site so many times, I went to PrintPlace.com for my business cards for the first time. The entire process took only about 15 minutes and it was so easy to order. I received my cards in the mail in just a few days - faster than my local printer was able to turn my project around. Better yet, PrintPlace had the best prices I could find for the features I wanted for my card.
The Order Process
With my design finalized, all I had to do was upload my files and within minutes, I had a digital proof ready for review. In my case, the fonts weren’t working out too well, so I tweaked my original file, re-uploaded, and had a working digital proof a few minutes later.
The digital proof included the bleed, trim marks, color bars, and other markings so I could see exactly how my cards would be cut. Without having a printing background, I was able to easily understand what was going on with the digital proof. If I can figure it out, anybody can.
After I got a digital proof that was exactly as I wanted it, all I had to do was approve the artwork and pay. That’s it! A few days later I had my cards, and they looked better than I expected and I always get compliments from people I give my cards to.
If you aren’t quite confident in ordering online after an unpleasant online experience in the past, ask for a free sample pack so you can see and feel the paper quality. Because I had such a small order, I was not too worried about this, and as it turns out I had nothing to worry about anyway.
