Win $1000 Worth of Prizes – Enter PrintPlace.com’s Poster Design Contest

The Poster Design Contest from PrintPlace.com is now underway, but designers still have plenty of time to submit an entry. The first round of the contest, which started on September 7, 2010, will be open for submissions until October 22, 2010, 11:59 PM (CDT). This is your chance to show off your amazing creative talent and win some incredible prizes!

Here’s a peek at what you could win:
Everyone who submits a valid poster design will receive 250 free business cards from PrintPlace.com. The grand prize winner will receive one Apple iPad, a $500 printing credit with PrintPlace.com, and their poster displayed on the PrintPlace poster printing page. Second and third place winners will receive a $100 printing credit with PrintPlace.com.

Here’s what you need to do:
Design an original poster that follows only a few guidelines and let your creativity shine! Make sure that your poster is no smaller than 11”x17” and no larger than 18”x24” in size. All designs must include typography but graphics are optional. Other than this, your poster can be any style you desire to create!

Here’s what the judging involves:
After the submission deadline, judges will choose three finalists to display their posters on the PrintPlace.com blog. Keep in mind that this first round of judging will be based on artistic expression (meaning creativity and layout), use of typography, uniqueness, and of course compliance with the official rules. Round two involves public voting on the three finalist posters, beginning November 4th and ending November 14th, 2010, so you may want to stick with a design that the general public will find interesting.

All US residents are invited to participate, so get started right away with your poster design! Before beginning, though, you may want to read through the official contest rules and regulations to avoid disqualification. Once ready, simply email your design to designcontest@printplace.com and include your name, address, and telephone number.
